Mike: My greatgrandmother was Johanna Pembroke - married to James Grady. They lived in Gloucester, MA and had 4 daughters. My grandmother was Effie Grady Craik. We have been to Canso and found the graves of Eliza and William Pembroke. I took a photo of the grave stone @Star of the Sea cemetery. The dates are:William died 4/10/1805 - age74 Eliza died 8/1/03 age 72. Are we of the same lineage? Would like to hear from you. We just returned from FL so had not check the message board for awhile.
