Jack, The land records are located at the Guysborough Registry of Deeds office. I doubt it would say anything further. There is a document that has some tidbits that is dated 1790, which myself and only a handful of others are aware of, I'll check it the next time I'm there. These records don't have the original grants, they are in Halifax at the Public Archives of N. S. Also, the originals from the Christ Church, Anglican, are in Halifax at PANS as well, now called Nova Scotia Archives and Record Manangement. Email me directly so I can have your request and I'll look up anything there may be on Guysborough Archives. Good luck
