Hi. Irish Catholic and Guysborough Hadley's do not go hand in hand. The Hadley's of Guysborough in 1790 were Anglican. Was he a pre-loyalist period settler of Guysborough, or a son of Capt. Jospeh Hadley who settled in Guysborough about 1765? Capt Joe was Anglican. There is quit a bit of info on the Hadley's of Capt Joseph's family in Jost's "Guysborough Sketchs and Essays" Our local historical society sells copies of that book. Will be glad to search some things for you.
