I want to thank all of you fans for your support of Sgt. Hammer this weekend. Going into it, I knew the odds would be stacked against us with the UNFAIR stipulation that I was to be CHAINED to Maddog Dan Sawyer during the match, which would prevent me from bringing any of the Fly's CHEATING ways to the attention of the referee.
I also want to thank referee Nick Patrick for his unswerving fairness during the match. Why, even though he injured his shoulder during a pinfall count, he toughed it out and finished the match. Incidentally, the sum of cash paid to referee Patrick was an advance on his WORKER'S COMPENSATION for sustaining an injury on the job, regardless of what Alexander Nevermind might say later.
Fortunately, the Money Maker$ were able to save me from an UNPROVOKED, VICIOUS attack by Maddog Dan Sawyer during the match. During that alercation, a piece of the ring assembly equipment INADVERTENTLY found it's way into the ring. I personally retrieved the foreign object from the ring to prevent the Fly from using it to assault Hammer, and the Fly obviously wanted to do just that because he ATTACKED ME, trying to wrestle the pipe from from my hands.
I'm not a wrestler, and I'm no match for the Fly. But thankfully Sgt. Hammer is, and being the LEGITIMATE champion that he is, stepped in, stopped the Fly's UNCALLED for attack on me, and won the match with a devastating pile driver!
Sadly, I don't remember much after that because of an unwarranted head but from a sore-loser Maddog Dan Sawyer.
