I first started watching wrestling at age 7 so that makes me a fan of 38 years.
Nowadays i'm mostly just a fan of GCW , WB , and other independent promotions , i'm not much into mainstream wrestling. If i watch an episode of TNA i have to take notes to remember what i saw .. it's like a big blur afterwards. I guess you could say i preferred the old days of kayfabe to today's sports entertainment. In the old days some people would unfortunately use the 'F' word (fake) , but imo there's nothing more phony than a match that's such a spotfest that wrestlers pass up easy pinfall opportunities to do highspot #73 ...DOH!!! i hate that crap , it's so non-believable.
Some of my favorite wrestlers of all time would include Jackie Fargo , Abdullah the Butcher , The original Sheik , Bobo Brazil , the Freebirds and many others. IMO the greatest in-ring technician was Nick Bockwinkle.
My favorite GCW wrestlers are InHuman Fly , Orion Bishop and of course Adam Roberts , but more importantly are the guys i love to hate which include TT3 , Nightprowler , and Muddbone , AND of course HCC.
