I have been a wrestling fan for thirty years. I started as a fan of Southeastern Championship wrestling and watched promotions such as World Class, the AWA, The UWF, WWF, Smoky Mountain, WCW and others. I saw a young Jim Cornette before he met the Midnight Express, Wayne Ferris before he became the Honkey Tonk Man, and a certain barber when he wrestled as Ed Hogan. I have seen greats such as Ric Flair and Andre the Giant live as well as Southern Legends such as Bob Armstrong and Adrian Street. I consider Ric Flair to be the greatest ever. My favorite wrestler is Daffney. She is also my pick for the most beautiful woman in the history of wrestling. I love many of the pro wrestling styles including old school, Japanese and Mexican high flying, WWF/E, and hardcore. I also love independent wrestling with Southeastern Championship Wrestling being the best ever independent promotion, in my opinion. GCW is a great promotion and has some of the best independent wrestlers I have seen in twenty years. I hope to see all of my fellow fans on Oct. 10 and at many more shows to come. And, Mr. Nevermind, if I am at a show I can be identified as the fan wearing a Daffney t-shirt.
