I will try to keep this short. I have been a wrestling fan for about 50 years. My mother told me that at the age of 2 I loved to watch a heel by the ring name Mario Galento and could remember his name when she couldn't. As the years past, I remained a heel fan and attended almost every Gulf Coast Wrestling event held in Pensacola, Mobile, Gulfport, and Hattiesburg. Some of the greats of Indy Gulf Coast Wrestling (ah ha! another GCW!) were Bobby and Don Fields, Cowboy Bob Kelly, Hippie Mike Boyette, The Interns with Dr. Ken Ramey, The Blue Yankee, and Ken Lucas. These were my favorites.
I have followed the NWA, Continental Championship Wrestling, TNA, and WWE on TV and attended several events by these promotions.
I am married and the proud aunt of two wrestling divas. I love NASCAR and BAMA football (actually converted to BAMA when Nick Saban became coach).
I am now a regular fan of Global Championship Wrestling and really enjoy watching The Fly, Orion Bishop, and Muddbone. I still find myself drawn to cheering for the bad boys, though.
