Hello GCW fan Matt! Alexander Nevermind right back at YA! Let me take the leash off the superstar known as "MAD DOG" Dan Sawyer! I suggest you strap yourself in and feel the G's of the power of the press!
Known for years to be the son of former WWF /WCW /CCW standout "Mad Dog" Buzz Sawyer, Sawyer brings ferocity and raw power to the GCW ring. Trained by the "Grandfather of GCW" Sylvester Ritter(A.K.A. The Junkyard Dog) A former GCW Heavyweight and tag team mega superstar, Sawyer is the man you want to find if Mic Foley, or Terry Funk is not in the building. I have watched this man emerge from the dressing room with a 2X4 that was wrapped in barbed wire and set on fire! His patented "Dog bomb" finisher has sent many wrestlers to retirement as well as the hospital. He has fueded with just about every bad guy in the GCW, his most memorable fued was with a man who will be in attendance Saturday night in the form of the NightProwler! Sawyer and the chair match against Eli "The Killa" Klown at the Club Bell Bottoms 4 years ago is basically what got GCW PERMENANTLY banned from Bell Bottoms! The fued with the Klown Posse( Eli , his manager Harley Quinn and The NightProwler at that time the GCW Tag Team Champions)tore the roof off to the skating arena in Chelsea, Alabama and the end result, GCW banned from the city of Chelsea for LIFE! Sawyer has been on the GCW board for a number of years. He got his start in the WCW when it was the NWA. Some have speculated when he will retire permenantly, but in the words of "American Dream" Dusty Rhodes, " I'm not retired, just RELAXIN!"
