Hello once more GCW Family, your roving GCW sideline reporter Alexander Nevermind back at ya one more time. From the responses I have gotten, the fans on the internet and the fans not in attendance have enjoyed my reports thus far, however, the Butterbean festival ended with a bang with the main event....
The music hit and Adam Jacobs came out, hit the ring and ordered the fans to "shut up and be quiet during his match"! It took every security man in the building to restrain the 82 year old lady in the front row!
The music hit and and the crowd let up their tray tables as Air INHuman Fly raced from the tunnel like he was shot out of a cannon! The crowd was totally into the GCW Heawyweight Champion as he greeted the crowd on hand before reporting to the ring.
The match started much like the Dragon Garza match started with neither man getting the upper hand early. It was back elbow,countered with an arm drag, hip toss countered with a submisson hold and the crowd loved it!
The Pendullum swung in Jacobs favor first when The Fly hit a manuver and inadvertently walked into a modified Enziguri that sent the one man swarm to the canvas seeing about 3000 Jacobses! Jacobs poured it on and went for several pin attempts but was only able to get "2". Totally frustrated, Jacobs lost the game plan mentally and the pendullum swung in the Fly's favor as he hit Jacobs with a flying head scissor, and a suprise enzguri of his own that had Jacobs seeing more stars than the two that he had tattooed on his body.
The Fly went for the Maggot Sandwich, but Jacobs would have none of it! He went for his finisher but only got "2". He argued that it was a 3, but the Ref wasn't buying what he was selling, The Fly came with a clothesline attempt, Jacobs ducked it, but caught a foot to the midsection in the process, from there it was all over but the shouting as The master of the Maggot Sandwich put Jacobs away with his finisher as the crowd went ballistic!
If you were not on hand for this match, you should be kicking yourself! Both men reached for the pinnacle of GCW, but the Fly made it! I know that Jacobs is far from done with the Fly. He will get another shot at the title because I know the Fly doesn't back down from any challenge. The zillion dollar question that has to be answered is will you be at ringside fans when it happens?!
