Re: Juan Carlos, Corinna, and Swiss bank accounts (again)
The news surrounding King Juan Carlos and his scandals are pure hypocrisy. Everybody in Spain knew about him having lovers and his finances. Let’s analyse the recent scandal. He received a commission from the Saudis. Well, he was asked to intervene when the high speed train deal was being negotiated. The CEOs of the main Spanish companies asked him to use his influence. It was unanimously accepted that Spain got the contract, in detriment of France, thanks to his intervention. The Government was with him in the delegation and, if there was a commission, the PM and the ministers did surely knew about it. I am sure that, if he received that money, it was with the PM’s consent. The Government is responsible for the King’s acts, according to the constitution. Previous Message Oh, I’m very much a realist, and not a Puritan at all. And if there was one mistake that both JC and JP2 shared, it’s that they were both too lenient and too forgiving with the Leftist forces in their respective country and church, IMO. The same forces that are now devouring both Spain and the Catholic Church.
