After Jean and Philomena married they moved in with her and had some renovations done. It appears that they did not get full permission in advance from the committee that runs the foundation so that resulted in some weird efforts to remove the heir from the house.
At present I'm not sure if the Duchess of Montpensier still uses the house but it has become the main residence of Jean and his family. As he is now the head of the dynasty it is only fitting for him to reside there.
As for the trustees i don't know if Jean as head of the House now has the change to appoint new trustees or if that is arranged otherwise.
Jean inherited some forestry land and a few jewels from his grandmother but his father did not have a fortune and 5 children. I assume that any money he had would with the blessing of Marie, Jean and Eudes first be used for Blanche and the costs of her care.
The Duchess of Montpensier comes from the Wurtemburg dukes and they seem to be very well off. I don't know if that means she herself has a fortune as well. Even if she is rich she has 4 remaining children.
The fortune Jean's grandfather inherited evaporated. With 9 children and several homes to maintain (he and his wife did live apart for a major part of their marriage) it's not completely surprising that some money is gone. What happened to the rest is unknown.
Yes, I noticed that error as well. It is amazing to read that someone has tried more than once to evict the new Count of Paris and his family from their house in Dreux. Who owns the property, I wonder? I thought the Count had inherited some valuable forest property from his grandmother. How can he now be completely penniless? And I wonder who is so unkind as to describe his wife as "pretentious" because of her "lack of pedigree."
El actual conde de París ostenta dichos títulos porque su hermano mayor, Francisco Enrique (56), quedó excluido de la sucesión a raíz de su fuerte discapacidad.
Apparently someone forgot that Prince François died last year...
