Poor Felipe.
My goodness, this is sordid. If I understand it correctly, once the relationship between the King and Corinna ended, the King wanted the properties he had put in her name, and she is alleging that the security forces have been used to threaten her to do so. If true, this is worse than previous scandals affecting the Royal Family.
One of the stories says that the third party captured in the recordings was "the former chairman of Spanish telecoms giant Telefónica, Juan Villalonga." Was he the person who gave the highly-paid job in Washington, D.C. to Inaki Urdangarin when the King needed to get his son-in-law out of the country?
She put her mouth in the trombone again.
In a secretely taped conversation, she admitted she acted as a frontwoman for Juan Carlos in several accounts and property deals the king has for a long time, even implicating the king's cousin and good friend Alvaro d'Orleans y Borbon, the king's frontman in Monaco.
(Alvaro's daughter Pilar was once spoken as Felipe's bride which would have delighted JC.)
Allegedelly the news came as a (another) bomb at la Zarzuela and the King is supposed to have "advised" his father not to travel to Palma for the usual summer holidays.
The easy option was to justify the king's absence at the annual King's Regatta with health problems, but it is said that Felipe wants to carve a distance with his troublesome father (whose fortune one day he will inherit w/o major conscience problems ) and the next step might be "inviting" JC to live abroad.
There is tension between father and son for a while.
After the Easter incident between Q.Sofia and Letizia, JC is supposed to have asked his son: "When will you divorce that woman ?"

After his abdication, Juan Carlos lost his immunity, but that does not aplly retroactively to the times he sat on the throne, so nothing will come out of it unless another embarassement to the king and crown.
Naturally Corinna plays the innocent party in all the scams
