Infanta Elena's son is not 20, my understanding from what I have read about him is that he is boisterous, confident and rather entitled.
If he still has these issues in 5 or 10 years time sure, call him all the names under the sun, but he is still a youth and he does not come from perfect family, so holding him up against some imagined pure dynasty is unfair.

: Well, unfortunately Froilan is famous for his
: presumptuous outbursts in public and for not
: exactly exercising the proper self-control
: befitted to his royal pedigree (as an adult,
: I mean, I'm not talking about the child's
: kicks during the 2004 wedding). THat's why
: he is very much followed by the social
: media. His parents are very much upset about
: this. R.

: I think we should compare them more to the
: children of Felipe's aunts and if we're
: looking abroad those of the Princess Royal
: in the UK and those of Prince Constantijn in
: the Netherlands. Yes they are in line of
: succession but will unlikely every have an
: official role in the monarchy. They are/have
: been raised to build their own life being
: respectful of the family they come from.

: No, they do not and will not have any public
: role.
: But, yes, their lives are of interest, at
: least for the social media.

: Infanta Elena's children are 4th and 5th in
: the line of succession to the throne, so is
: it likely that Don Froilan and Dona
: Victoria will have any public roles in the
: future, much like the York princesses in
: U.K. ? Infanta Elena's children are in
: their late teens now...is there much media
: interest about their lives and what they do?
: Thanks.

: I did not say anything about non royals not
: behaving properly in public. You are making
: assumptions.

: The Countess of Barcelona was born royal and
: knew how to
: behave in public.
:
: What a bizarre pairing of traits,
: particularly when one considers the many
: egregious and colorful fools, psychos,
: letchers and other assorted nasty characters
: in royal history.
:
: As you probably know, the vast majority of
: people in the world "who know how to
: behave in public" were not "born
: royal." The two characteristics are not
: intrinsically linked.
