By the way, I’ve never said MC’s comments are not to be considered. Yes, I can imagine they both have met several times. Maybe - probably - the dislike is mutual. She is, by all means, entitled to have and express her opinion about anything under the sun, and it is as valuable as any.
Another different question is if it’s a very royal and elegant action from HRH Princess Marie-Chantal of Greece critizing on the public nets so violently HM the Queen of Spain, who accidentally happens to be the wife of his husband’s cousin. I can only guesss Pavlos received a phone call from the King in the last days.
And just for the record : in my previous post I ended saying I was laughing out loud when hearing about the comments about by Spanish radio commentators re MC. Let me put this straight : I laughed because I was shocked (in a positive hilarious way): 4-5 people were merciless bashing Letizia and suddenly, in a matter of ONE MINUTE or less, they were chivalrously defending her (“our Queen”, they aired proudly) against Mc’s attacks. (“Quién los entienda, que los compre”, as surely you understand). R.

: Some of you say Marie Chantal’s comments are
: not to be considered because of her
: background, being a lazy posh ,etc. Even if
: she is how some have described her, it does
: not mean her tweet is not the truth. I
: suppose she knows more avout Letizia than
: all of us together.
: After reading Pedro’s post below, we both
: agree. That’s why I use this Spanish proverb
: you surely know.

: Excuse me, I don't quite understand. What
: are
: you exactly doubting is true?? No kidding. I
: just don't come across your post. R.

: Even if that is true, as we say in Spanish:
: “la verdad es la verdad, la diga Agamenon o
: su porquero”.

: Regarding MC’s unfortunate tweet, let me
: share
: a personal anecdote : yesterday I was trying
: to survive an afternoon radio talk show
: while driving. Subject was of course the
: topic of the day. It seems we have no other
: bigger and deeper problems here to discuss
: . Letizia was of course being hardly
: critizised by the photo episode, by her
: alledged distance to her in-laws, for
: isolating the King of friends and family and
: for all imaginable kind of things (ah!
: Including her choice of pink bag for the
: Easter Mass!).
:
: Well, at one point Marie Chantal’s comment
: entered the scene. And suddenly the general
: outrage was epic . Not literally but almost
: : “MC, you spoiled megarich brat, you that
: have never properly worked in your life, and
: so on and on ... you, how dare you
: critizice OUR QUEEN!!!! ??”
: Luckily enough, I stopped at a traffic light
: at that very moment, because I couldn’t
: stop laughing. R.

: Personally, I think she had some very good
: reasons to do so
:
: MC's tweet reflects her own exquisite
: tawdriness. Spain's queen is a self-made
: person, whereas MC is the quintessential
: cosseted 'dollar princess' for whom
: *everything* has always been provided ...
: except the prospect of ever becoming a
: queen.
