We all know how that ended! Upon becoming queen, Victoria banished her mother and her private secretary, John Conroy, far away from her presence. Although, ultimately, mother and daughter later reconciled.
So, who knows? In a similar way that Felipe "rebelled" against his parents' wishes by marrying a divorced commoner with a very different upbringing than him, maybe Leonor might also rebel against Letizia and actually marry a royal prince or, at least, a nobleman. Just wishful thinking on my part!
