For that matter, the use of "Infanta" is also a Spanish convention--the British press, at least, regularly refer to "Princess" Cristina, not Infanta Cristina, in stories about her legal travails. Paradoxically, the Spanish spelling of her name remains unchanged in those same articles . . .
