The sung Te Deum and investiture included music by Bach and Handel; Princesses Cristina and Ines of Bourbon-Two Sicilies attended, as did Princess Benigna Reuss,(Princess Victoria of the Two Sicilies attended the receptin following), the Count of Orgaz, president of the Spanish Assembly of the Order of Malta, and the Duke of Huescar (Vice-Grand Prefect), Ambassador Baron Paolo Pucci di Benisichi (President of the Deputation), Cardinal Dario Castrillon Hoyos, Grand Prior, Ambassador don Carlos Abella (grand Chancellor) the Duke of Pastrana (Auditor-General), the Count of Villarreal (president of the Association of Hidalgos, member of the Deputatin), Duke don Diego de Vargas Machuca (president of the Italian Commission), Dom Filipe Folque de Mendoca Loule, Count of Rio Grande (President of the Portuguese Commission), the vice-grand chancellor, and other officers of the Order. The new knights and dames included don Ramon de Hces y Elduayen, Duke of Hornachuelos, Ambassador dn Carlos Barcena y Portoles, don Carlos Gereda de Borbon, Marques of Almazan, dona Carmen Lopez de Sole y Martin de Vargas, Vizcndesa de Almocadan, don Oscar Gomez de Linares y Rodriguez, and others.
