Now that is an extremely interesting question.
If Infanta Doña Leonor ever succeeds to the throne of Spain, let us hope she will marry one of the many Bourbons walking around, to keep the monarchy in genealogical Bourbon hands.
But at the other side, once the Spanish throne was occupied by Habsburgers and since 300 years by Bourbons. So a swap to another 'House', let us say the genealogy of a shoesalesman who fells in love with an Infanta (the supporters of 'modernity' will jump into the air) is nothing new under the sun.
