There were at least two prospective brides.
From there to any mutual interest...
One was Catherine de Limburg-Stirum eldest grand-daughter of the late Counts of Paris, naturally with the great support of the grand-parents.
The other one, strongly supported by GDss Charlotte, was one of the brazilian twin sisters Maria Gabriela or Maria Teresa of Orléans-Bragança, not sure which one.

: Was Grand Duke Henri ever linked (or
: speculated to be linked) to any Princess?

: Interesting. We may assume that the Conde de
: Barcelona (at that moment head of a
: non-ruling House) would not have had
: objections against a marriage of Don
: Carlos-Hugo de Bórbon-Parma with Princess
: Irene of the Netherlands.
:
: It would be interesting to know what the
: Conde thought about the alliance of Prince
: Henri of Luxembourg with Maria Teresa. I
: have the feeling he will have supported the
: Duke of Parma in his formal rejection on
: ground of the 'family treaty' and/or
: 'tradition'.
:
: We still do not know how the Duke of Parma
: feels about the plans of his son Prince
: Carlos to marry Anne-Marie Gualthérie van
: Weezel. If he considers this a dynastic
: marriage or not. And how other
: Bourbon-Parmas, like his brother Sixte and
: his sisters feel about that.
:
: There is no any communiqué about that. Maybe
: that is telling as well.
