Prince Jean's objections against his father's second marriage are a bit strange.
First of all the second marriage has no any dynastical consequence since it will not bear any fruit, we may assume.
Secondly the Prince is not in a position to object Micaela Cousiño y Quiñones de León because he has no any stance himself since his marriage to María Philomena de Tornos y Steinhart.'
The Prince simply had to shut up and await his time. The Comte de Paris does look particularly frail and he has not the eternal life.
