Prince Carlos loosing his rights?

Some newspapers have referred to the 'family statute' of the House of Parma. (Not known by me). This statute would block the marriage of a member of the House of Parma with a commoner.

There is no communiqué at all. We don't know if the Duke of Parma has approved this engagement. Back then he has witheld his approval for the marriage of Prince Henri of Luxembourg with Miss Maria Teresa Mestre y Batista. Probably because he is the Chef of the House of Parma and was only following the rules of the family-statute?

His headship is fiercely contested by the Duke's brother Prince Sixte. It is interesting to see how the Duke handles this.
