I only read that 'the family announced'. No written statement has appeared in the press at this moment.
As for the religious side. The father of Anne-Marie has been an MP for the Christian Conservatives. This party is the result of a merger of the Catholic Peoples Party and two protestant parties; the ARP, a progressive protestant party and the CHU the more conservative protestant party.
Before the CDA became the CDA, Mr. Gualthérie van Wezel was a member of the CHU.
Since membership of these parties was pretty strict along religious lines, we can safely assume that her father is protestant and therefor she is most likely protestant as well.

: Some Questions, Henri (I have not found the
: answers in the Benelux board thread,
: either):
: - Who has announced the marriage? Any
: official communique by the Duke of Parma?
: - Is the bride Catholic?
: - If his father has issued a communique, how
: is Carlos Javier referred? Is the the Prince
: of Piacenza, the Duke of Madrid or simply
: Prince Carlos Javier de Bourbon de Parme?
: If would be interesting to know the answers
: to these questions. Thanks.
