Has anyone heard of the orphan foal problem in Kentucky. Seems like there are hundreds of excess foals that are produced each year in Kentucky. I have visited a website that gives all the information about them. They are looking for people to adopt these poor orphan foals.
Some of the foals are taken away from their mother as young as three days old. The mares are leased to raise hign dollar foals, so that leaves her baby behind. I can't believe that people are so cruel.
The website that I found are trying to purchase as many foals as they can, to try to get them into safe homes. I have been looking at BLM and PMU Foals, but these little guys don't have a chance at all, with our help.
