Can you breed a blind horse?(mare) What do people think about doing that? What could go wronge? I know just about anything could go wronge with breeding any horse. Does anyone have any experiance with breeding a blind mare or know of someone? I know its possible that she could step on the foal, but since shes been blind for a while she is tuned good to hearing and smelling. Plus mares that arn't blind still have step on their foals. Also...... If the mare was born blind would it pass on to her foals? Or if she got blind later on without injury could it pass on to her foals? If so do you know the possibility(like 2 out of 5 foals)? I know you can't be sure unless the mares been bred before, but I need to know what I'm getting myself into fully by getting her. If someone can help please do! I can use any advise along these lines. Thanks!
