The Kents did marry religiously later on. Years after their civil and then Anglican marriage ceremonies (or was the Anglican one a “blessing” like Charles & Camilla had?), Prince and Princess Michael of Kent received papal authorization for a Catholic marriage, which took place on 29 VII 1983, two days after the Princess’ first marriage was annulled by the Catholic Church. Though raised a Catholic, I admit to being terribly hazy on the concept of "having one's (civil) marriage “blessed” vs. being “married religiously,” separately on a later date.
