William's actions in Ireland, and the actions of many of the Ascendency that he entrenched, were repellent. But the Protestant Succession was with within the sovereign powers of Parliament and it had no monopoly on bigotry.
I take your point that for many centuries before Protestantism the rulers of England and Scotland were Catholic, but for thousands of years before they were Christians they not.
As for your use of 'Elizabeth Windsor', you are quite aware of what you do.
