His Wikipedia article just mentions a daughter from this marriage and based on his age he could be the grandfather of Angela Jank but as there is no mentioning of a son for Angelo Jank and his wife, I have no idea if this could be the line Marlene means.
The line goes:
George II x Amalie Freiin von Wendt =>
Johann Ludwig Graf von Wallmoden-Gimborn x Louise Freiin von Lichtenstein=>
Luise Henriette Gräfin von Wallmoden-Gimborn x Karl Graf von Rotenhan =>
Luise Gräfin von Rotenhan x Wolfgang Freiherr von Thüngen => Hans Karl von Thüngen x Julia Gräfin von Gleich =>
Anna Freiin von Thüngen x Prof. Angelo Jank
Anna and Angelo have a daughter born in 1916. A brother could very well be the father of Angela Jank who herself is born in 1951.
What surprised me is the few generations between George II and Angela Jank (if she is a granddaughter); only 7 generations from her to George II.
From George II to Charles is nine generations.
PS I found the genealogical data on the website of Leo van der Pas
: Reading Marlene's article on the
: Percy-Oettingen-Oettingen wedding, and being
: a passionate for genealogy, I tried to
: establish the relation between Pss Nora O-O
: and George II.
: I looked on Roglo data basis but there is no
: trace of such descendance.
: But OTOH I found a double relationship of
: Tatiana Blatnik, Pss Nicholaos of Greece to
: the vey same George II - one via his
: legitimate issue, the other via one
: illegitimate son, the same ancestor of Pss
: Nora of O-O
: Maybe someone can fill the blanks (xx) or
: even found the Nora-George II relationship.
: I don't remeber reading of Tatiana's royal
: ascendance at the time of her
: Tatiana is the last xx on the tree.
: That makes Nicholaos a cousin in the 7th
: degree of one of Tatiana's parents (I hate
: all those xx's)
: All the other relationships between
: Nicholaos & Tatiana :
