I discussed this with a member of the Crown Council many years ago. It might be correct that there was such a declaration, but it was not a requirement for succession rights to be born on Yugoslavian soil according to the house law at the time. In other words, mainly for propaganda purposes.
It should be fairly easy to check records in the Public Record Office and write an article about it ...
