I'm looking at an engraving on a title page of a book. It has the arms of Grand Duke Francesco I of Tuscany impaled with those of his second wife Bianca Cappello.
The supporter on one side is Justice. On the other side is a female figure holding the papal ombrellino and crossed keys (as seen on Papal State coins during a papal interregnum).
I'm wondering if this second supporter is a reference to some papal office held by Francesco I. Any ideas?
