It no longer matters. I am working on a novel and Ivan V is a minor character. I considered having a liece of the plot involve his doctor, but went a different direction.

: Czar Ivan V, who was co-Czar with young Peter
: the Great, is an interesting historical
: figure. He was said to be physically feeble
: and mentally-retarded, yet he produced 5
: daughter with his wife Praskovia (Saltykov)
: before he died, aged about 30. He never
: attempted to rule, and allowed Peter to fill
: the role of monarch. Peter was said to be
: fond of him.
:
: I have no idea, though, who his doctor was.

: Does anyone know the name, or pocess a
: biography which names, the doctor in charge
: of Tsar Ivan V's care? Ivan was the
: half-brother and co-Tsar with Peter the
: Great.

: Thanks in advance
