Funeral of Archduke Felix in Muri (Switzerland)

The last son of the last Austrian Emperor was laid to rest yesterday (1st October 2011) in the Loreto Chapel (Habsburg Vault) in the former Convent of Muri in Switzerland. The Aargauer Zeitung has some pictures and an article about the funeral (in German only). Here another (earlier) article from the same newspaper. According to the article were the Head of the House of Habsburg present, HIRM Karl von Habsburg as well as HRH Grand Duke Henri of Luxemburg. There is a picture of Archduke Carl Christian and Archduchess Marie-Astrid. HIRH was buried at the side of his wife Anna-Eugénie (née Princess of Arenberg) who died in 1997. Also buried in the Loreto Chapel are the hearts of the Archduke's parents, Empress Zita and Emperor Karl (beside the hearts of several other Habsburgs).
