There is no reigning monarchy in Europe (excluding the papacy) that still is strictly salic. The former Belgian PM who changed their succession to gender neutral stated he did so because he was fed up with being ridiculed about the salic successionrules by fellow European politicians. That was over two decades ago.
If Romania had remained a monarchy the succession would no doubt have been changed to allow female succession (probably in the Castilian system) by the time Queen Anne gave birth to their third daugther.
