I was thinking moreso of the Prince Regent being unable to produce children, who by that time was old and fat.
Its of note as well perhaps that despite sharing the Hanoverian passion for sex, he only appears to have managed one child either legitimate or illegitimate. Between them, the rest of his brothers (and possibly sisters) had probably in the region of 50 between them.
