I agree with your comments. I also had the impression that GF will try to fulfill with the House Laws. He said each Royal House has its laws and some are tougher than others.
About his uncle, he's been present in many royal programmes on German TV and he is always showing his bitter for not being the heir. Quite boring! I'm glad GF is the heir and not him.
I had never heard GF and I was also positively impressed. I especially liked when he was a guide for a group of children in Burg Hohenzollern.
Concerning how he greeted his aunts, not surprised. That's the way royals act. At least, masculine members of my royal family.
