no that is not the ruling. The ruling has nothing to do at all with the question of the headship.
Germany isa republic since 1918 and the German courts do not deal with such matters as succession. The popular press turns it into such a matter.
It has all to do with the finances and who gets a share to the assets.
I believe the girlfriend is Sophie Princess of Loewenstein.
