The marriage of Willem-Alexander and Maxima of the Netherlands could have been another one had his grandmother not abdicated. Juliana was still alive in 2002 and WA would have been the heir of the heiress apparent (in 1983 the succession became gender neutral).
In Luxembourg they might miss out on one as well if Guillaume marries during his grandfather's life.

: According to the criteria it technically
: wasn't the best example. Here is another one
: to consider. Prince Wilhelm's brother,
: Prince Louis Ferdinand, married in 1938 in
: the life time of his grandfather (although
: not during his reign) Grand Duchess Kira
: Kirillovna of Russia. Although this marriage
: was dynastic and not morganatic the fact
: that it occurred during Kaiser Wilhelm II's
: exile may also disqualify it.
:
: That is my inclination. Let's give it an
: honorable mention, though.
