it quite much looks like Irina was embarrased that her daughter was living with a spouse 'without the benefit of marriage', and precisely quite immediately after (and only after) the young couple at last wedded themselves officially (a week ago), Irina permitted the release of the information. (otherwise, this date is just too much of a coincidence.) Their little daughter, now at age of two, was obviously born outside marriage. I gather it means the little girl is not entitled to a position in the line of sucession to the british throne.
