I am travelling to Paris on Friday in connection with a job seminar, but will get some time to do sightseeing. As I have been to Paris before and seen "the musts", I would like to do more "nerdy stuff", such as visiting the grave of King Zog of the Albanians at the Cimetière de Thiais (if the weather permits it):
http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=8054978
Some information on the cemetery can be found here:
http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cimeti%C3%A8re_parisien_de_Thiais
and here:
http://www.paris.fr/portail/Parcs/Portal.lut?page_id=1797
The latter includes a map of the cemetery.
I have of course looked at various maps of Paris (not good enough, obviously) as well as googled around for more information, but as I don't understand French, I still haven't found out how to get to the cemetery. Could someone please tell which metro line (and station) and/or local train/bus, whatever, I should use?
Thanks in advance!
It might be the last opportunity for me to visit the grave in Paris, by the way. The Albanian authorities are planning to move his body to Tirana, cf. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/33240290/ns/world_news-europe/ (courtesy to Lukasz for posting the link at the Nobiliana forum).
