there should be no surprise if a person's chosen spouse happens to somewhat resemble one or more members of the first-mentioned person's family.
It is genetical imprinting; people generally find perspons who resemble their own family members, more trustworthy and such.
There's a theory that people would be marrying their siblings and close cousins all the time, IF a counter-imprinting, so-called Westermarck effect, would not be causing aversion aganist sex with persons whom one has been close with when 0-8 years old.
Which would mean that people would happily marry their such third or second cousins who resemble their own family members, and with whom they have not lived closely when young children. Yep, in societies a couple centuries ago, such took place all them time.
If Jonas Bergström happens to have some outlooks resemblance with king Carl Gustav, with prince Carl Philip, with the late prince Bertil, ....
then it's only pretty natural that Madeleine had found his looks to be something to interest about.
The matter would possibly be totally different, would Jonas also BEHAVE and have too much similar VALUES like the old king....
If Mary Donaldson happens to have some outlooks resemblance with queen Margrethe II, with princess Benedikte, with the queen Anne Marie, ....
then it's only pretty natural that crown prince Frederik had found her looks to be something to interest about.
The matter would possibly be totally different, would Mary also BEHAVE and have too much similar VALUES like the old queen....
