In the Netherlands the King is part of the government so it goes without saying that the Dutch queens Juliana and Beatrix were consulted when the Netherlands adopted absolute primogeniture in the Netherlands. Their opinion about it is not known. The change however had no consequences for those eligible to succeed in those days.
