Hope the article didn't make dog's dinner out of facts of those. I have seen that terminology of laws of succession is amazingly difficult for article writers, for example.
Test question: what are correct terms for the succession system used in the kingdom of Denmark in 1100s ?
What about the one used in the kingdom of France at the same time?
Because of the longer average life span of females, under today's conditions, male-preference primogeniture tends to mean in average rather equal number of years of female reign vs male reign. For example, count the years reigned by queens, and by kings, in England since, say, 1800.
Some may regard that as a good measure of equality between genders.
