Re: Eros in the latest She Hulk *SPOILERS*

Don't know how I found this board, but here's a few cents.
As a major fan of Eros, it's always welcome to see him in print. He's one of those characters that seems to be trotted out every 10 years to be the butt of a joke, then packed away again. At least in the DC universe they make their 3rd tier characters three dimensional.. but I digress.
I have to say I did appreciate most of his appearence here. He was written a notch above most of the cameos he's had, and at least referenced that he has a past, and is basically of noble blood.
The only let down was the ending, with what looks like him fleeing. That is the only cowardly thing I have ever seen him do in his whole comic career, and totally out of character.
The implications of that?? Hmmm, not sure. Following on the thread of what others have said on here, I like to think that his powers are constantly on. Maybe on some base level he's always projecting the pleasure power, similar to a radioactive character who may always pump out some ambient level of rads. Then when he actually uses his power, he amplifies or focuses it.
Would love to see if this story goes anywhere, or is just forgotten like many other plots with Starfox... I mean, at one point weren't the Avengers setting up an early warning satellight with team members on board.. what happend to them????
Oh, and yeah, that was my letter in the letters page of the second issue. Couldn't help myself.
