Punisher War Zone was the first I'd seen of your "new" style, and it really threw me...I couldn't believe it was the same artist. (although in retrospect, it isn't that far removed from your first run on Uncanny X-Men) And yet, I did enjoy your work on Cable: Blood & Metal & Uncanny X-Men shortly afterward, so maybe it was just an adverse reaction to the Punisher... But I really do think you're well-suited to the Eternals; the art I've seen so far is for my money the best the Eternals have looked since Sal Buscema's mini. By the way, Uncanny X-Men#187 where the X-Men fought the Dire Wraiths scared me silly as a kid; your depiction of the Wraiths killing their victims with their stalks and that moment where Colossus kicked a stalk right off a Wraith's mouth...yeah. Thanks for the good scares! (good thing I didn't read #186 as a kid, because Barry Windsor-Smith's depiction of the stalk attack was even more disgusting) MH
