I'm not a big fan of Loeb's writing, but I have to admit, this actually was a pretty decent issue, and dialogue was on the spot as well.
THE GOOD
- Actually good dialogue, even for Hawkeye.
- Hank Pym's reaction to dealing with the Blob is probably what I would have done in the same scenario (yeah, call me sick).
- I actually like the idea of the Jonas (?) files that Hank's referring to.
- Loeb provides some minor suspense as to who's going to be staying back in Valhalla (I couldn't really tell who it would be until it happened).
THE BAD
- Hank sacrificing himself. Couldn't he just have b###h slapped the suicide bombers into the sea? And why were they all clinging on him?
Other than that, a pretty enjoyable read. A lot was going on, but all the storylines made sense, and you can sense that they're going somewhere.
