This has been a question I've been brooding on for the last few days. Loki's powers over reality made it so if Thor did convince anyone he wasn't craze Loki could just adjust reality so they didn't believe him, but what if Thor won the battle instead of loosing it. What could he have done? He would still be public enemy #1 for killing so many heroes. He would still be unable to sense where Loki was allowing Loki to just cause more trouble. If anything that would have aided the Liberators. So, due to Loki being so much greater than Thor wad the Odinson doomed one way or another?
