I'd just like to start by saying that nobody writes a conversation like Bendis? Add Guice to the list of artists who can hold up their end well to keep the art from detracting from this.
And was most of this material about Charles and Erik new? Gotta say I like Erik deparated from WW2 and the appearance of Magda but it still doesn't explain how a manmade mutant gene in the late 40's spread worldwide. I probably won't buy Ultimatum because Loeb is not to my taste. Heck, he's like the embodiment of everything that is my taste but I'll enjoy Bendis Ultimate stuff most every time I can.
