Ultimate Spider-Man: Always good. Love the Art, always have loved Immonen, but the story was a tad slow this month. Awww Well, im sure it'll pick up. Bendis likes to do talky, and at least he does talky well.
Ultimates: God Awful. I've not actually read anything so bad before, and struggling through Chuck Austen's X-Men - ALL IS FORGIVEN CHUCK! Save Us from Loeb. This is actually, appalling on several levels, aside from the rampant continuity abuse, the fact he activly wants them to be more 616, which is pointless, and horrific, HORRIFFIC Dialogue, it all builds up to a truely crap comic.
Ultimate X-Men: *yawn* Sorry, but this is still doing bog all for me. Drugs that make no sense, I mean if Petes being using Drugs for so long, how did he use them at Weapon X? How has he hidden it from the others for this long? Why is he meeting this drug dealer, who he's presumably met before, but blindfolded, by a blood window, when any of the group can look out, and Cyclops does?
The plot just doesn't hold up that well.
Ultimate Fantastic Four: Interesting, the Character designs are a bit bland and samey, but I don't like the art on this. Bring back Pasqual Ferry, please. Dynamism is his thing, or at least someone with a bit more...zest to their artwork. Everyone looks a bit stiff and a bit..generic. Carey's clearly building towards something else here - Good because I like his Megaplots, but it needs a bit more of a jump in it's step.
