Some of my ideas of who Vindicator really is:
Possibly Gambit. Hence Rouge's reaction to touching him.
Possibly Wolverine's old man. Hence the Canadian connection.
Or maybe even a clone of Wolverine or Captain America. Hench the tie-in with how, "everything is connected" as uttered by Dr. Banner to Spidey in issue 2 of Marvel Team Up.
Also, Bendis did this to Ulti Spidey in the clone saga, so why not do the same with Wolvie and Cap?
Any thoughts?
