LET'S ALL JUST ATTACK EACH OTHER!
Why did Hawkeye mindlessly attack Spider-Man? Why did Captain America throw his shield at Hawkeye instead of ordering him to stand down? I don't get it. Do good guys just attack each other then talk later?

LET ME LAY OUT EVERYTHING FOR YOU BECAUSE THE READER IS AN IDIOT!
And why does Loeb have to spell out everything for us? Instead of letting the story explain that Hawkeye has a death-wish, he has to have Hawkeye explicitly say it. Same thing goes for Quicksilver considering switching sides. Why can't you have actions and decisions tell the story instead of explicitly laying it out for us?

SO I GUESS THERE IS A MASSIVE, COORDINATED ATTACK?
Loeb also tries to make us believe that there is this massive coordinated attack that is pending. Unfortunately, a sex tape leak doesn't constitute an attack unless it has dire consequences, which it apparently did not.

And what's up with Cap telling Sabretooth he wants him out of his house? Wouldn't you rather want to apprehend the killer? Or even better, kill him?

Was the last page supposed to be a cliffhanger? If so, I'm missing something here.

WHY CAN'T THOR SPEAK IN REGULAR ENGLISH?
And the reason Thor speaks in old English? Utter bullsh!t. I just knew that the justification as to why Thor now speaks in old English was going to be crap... and was I right.

The ONLY neat thing Loeb did was having Quicksilver speak super fast.

STORY: 1 / 10 I rarely give 1's, so this is a first.
ART: 3 / 10 Not working on an Ultimates title.
OVERALL: 1 / 10

Sorry, but this truly sucked. For a completionist like myself who tends to collect for the sake of completion, and a semi-defender of issue #1, I'm going to have to drop this. Maybe all those guys who blasted the first issue were right.
