So it's a hit and we should get rid of it. Good logic; I imagine you would prescibe chemotherapy for athletes foot as well.
The UU is not just to get away from continuity constraints--Christ, they break continuity all the time in the MU--it is a vehicle to tell new stories with new themes as well. And they are doing that well (sometimes) and should keep going.
