The UU is not just to get away from continuity constraints--Christ, they break continuity all the time in the MU--it is a vehicle to tell new stories with new themes as well. And they are doing that well (sometimes) and should keep going.

So it's a hit and we should get rid of it. Good logic; I imagine you would prescibe chemotherapy for athletes foot as well.

: I think the Ultimate Universe has run its
: course and done it's job.
:
: It has fulfilled it's requirements:
: 1) Be a sales hit
: 2) Present "modern" takes not
: connected to decades continuity in order to
: be accessible to new fans
:
:
: Why it should END: 1) The "normal"
: Marvel Universe is far more interesting that
: the Ultimate U. now. Ironically, the style
: of the Ult U contributed to the current
: style of the normal U.
:
: 2) Ultimates no longer has purpose as a
: "continuity free zone" as it is
: now years old and mired in it's own
: continuity.
